We are delighted to share that one of our homes has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted following its latest inspection.
The report highlights the exceptional care provided to children, describing a nurturing, family-orientated environment where young people are supported to thrive.
Inspectors recognised that young people receive individualised care "filled with love, warmth, nurture, patience and empathy," and benefit from strong, consistent relationships with a skilled and committed staff team.
Children living at the home are making exceptional progress. The inspection noted significant improvements in education, including one child moving up two academic levels and another achieving 100% attendance from a starting point of 56%. Children are also developing confidence and skills through a wide range of activities, from football and music production to holidays and shared home experiences.
The report praised the home's strong focus on children's voices, highlighting how young people are fully involved in decisions about their care and support. Inspectors also commented on the sense of belonging within the home, where diversity is celebrated and children feel accepted and valued.
Leadership was recognised as a key strength, with Ofsted describing the registered manager as "an exceptional leader" who is ambitious for children and drives the team to provide the very best support.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our manager, Louise Mellor. We are incredibly proud of all that she has achieved. Her dedication, compassion and leadership have been instrumental in creating a stable, nurturing environment where children can thrive and make exceptional progress.
We are also proud of our committed staff team whose consistency, professionalism and care ensure children receive high-quality support every day.
This Outstanding judgment reflects the dedication of everyone involved and, most importantly, celebrates the progress and successes of the children who live in the home. It reinforces our commitment to providing safe, nurturing environments where children can flourish and achieve their full potential.
